The Board of Directors of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, as part of the Foundation’s latest cycle of grants, has approved 111 new grants in support of non-profit organizations, whose activities are expected to have a positive and lasting impact globally, while also focusing on the increasing needs of Greece.

Social Welfare Sector:
With 30 new grants in the area of Social Welfare, totaling $7.75 million (approximately €6.87 mil), the Foundation supports organizations working to combat poverty, to assist vulnerable social groups and to enhance innovative social programs and initiatives.

InterMedi@KT is among them in collaboration with the team of Prosvasis.co. The grant supports an online platform documenting accessible infrastructure and services for people with physical disabilities for the cities of Thessaloniki, Patras, Kalamata, Komotini, Kos, Karditsa, Trikala, Rodos, Volos.
