Read the impressions of our participants, after their participation in Innovat training course in Valencia, Spain during from 16 May to 11 May 2016.
What did you learn/gain from this training program? (Did the organizing, objectives and outcomes met your expectations?)
Kostas: Having the chance to travel abroad is for sure appealing on its own but combining traveling with an amazing experience where you both get to meet new people from around the world and get trained on how to face common problems in your work place and in your life is truly special. This training program taught us special techniques and ways on how to get the most out of people you are working with, motivate them and as a result make your team more effective. Also the training was concentrated on social matters that young people usually face and how a team full of young people can cooperate to solve them. The experience was much better than expected due to our hosts being perfectly organized and friendly and the trainings being really useful and pleasant.
How was the TC atmosphere and the cooperation – brainstorming among the participants?
Kostas: The atmosphere went through a lot stages. At first everyone was hesitant to speak to each other as it is expected in big groups of people not knowing each other, but as the days passed and we started to know each other the atmosphere evolved to be really pleasant with everyone having a really good time and that was the key part, because the better the atmosphere the better the cooperation between the trainees. It was amazing how close we all got as a team regardless of the fact that we were from different countries and different cultures and some of us didn’t even speak the same language. So we were shown that personal relationships between the members of a team do play an important role to a team’s functionality.
Was it your first participation in an Erasmus+ Project? What are your impressions/ experiences in general? Would you choose again/recommend InterMediaKT for Erasmus+ activities?
Kostas: For me it was my first participation in a project like this and i can say that in general it was much better than expected even though my expectations were pretty high. Being given the opportunity to spent some days in a different country, with people from different continents and getting the knowledge to be better at what i do, make me feel blessed and i thank InterMedi@kt for that! I don’t know what future will bring but i would gladly participate in a similar action, especially if InterMedi@KT is involved.
