SheTechTalks Project Launched: Empowering Young Women with digital skills and entrepreneurial knowledge
The SheTechTalks project has officially begun, aiming to empower young women aged 18 to 25 by equipping them with essential digital skills and entrepreneurial knowledge. With an ever-growing demand for tech-savvy professionals, this initiative opens doors to new professional and educational opportunities in the ICT (Information and Communications Technology) sector.
The SheTechTalks project kicked off with a dynamic meeting hosted by the University of Groningen. This meeting marked the beginning of a powerful collaboration between the project’s partners(InterMediaKT, Mediterráneo International, Women Do Business, Vytautas Magnus University, and the University of Groningen), who came together to discuss the vision and objectives of the initiative. Key discussions during the kick-off focused on the challenges and opportunities for women in the ICT sector, as shared by experienced alumni businesswomen from the University of Groningen. Their insights served as a valuable foundation, shedding light on real-world issues and providing inspiration for the path forward.
InterMediaKT’s Key Role in SheTechTalks
InterMediaKT, a key partner in the project, is responsible for crafting the visual strategy and developing the project’s website and platform. Additionally, the organization co-leads the communication and dissemination (C&D) strategy, ensuring that the project’s message reaches a global audience. Our efforts are focused on creating an engaging and accessible online platform where participants can access learning materials, resources, and networking opportunities.
A Vision for the Future
SheTechTalks is more than just a project, it’s a movement that empowers young women to embrace their potential in the tech industry. As the initiative progresses, it will continue to foster innovation, collaboration, and opportunities for its participants. Through the collective efforts of partners, SheTechTalks is set to make a lasting impact on the future of women in tech.
