We started in 2012 with the vision of facilitating unconditional access to education and technology to ensure equity and prosperity, and we shall continue pursuing it.
InterMediaKT officially participated and was evaluated with 4/5 stars in the THALES II: Mapping and Evaluation program of the Non-Profit Organizations in Greece.
Ahead of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3rd), the Portuguese National Agency Erasmus+ will award the project IVEA with the inclusive E+ Prize. Join the online ceremony award on November 25th and show your support to the inclusion of people with autism through education!
In the special circumstances imposed by COVID-19, the Mobile Excellence Awards 2020 found the way to highlight last night the top products and the best business practices in the mobile market. High-ranking executives of the entire digital and mobile ecosystem, representatives of local actors, experienced and renowned market executives, academics and experts, honored with their presence the special event held within the Mobile Excellence Awards. There, in an enthusiastic atmosphere, the winners of EODY received their awards and were photographed while the TOP distinctions of the year were announced.
InterMediaKT’s team was grateful to receive the first ESC volunteers Chloe & Sara and to announce that we own the European Solidarity Corps Quality Label which certifies that we are taking part in the ESC by providing the necessary conditions for young people to take part in solidarity activities.
InterMediaKT has launched a new series of webinars with topics that concern us, interest us, fascinate us or cause us concern, in the new reality of quarantine. Every Tuesday, through Wuby, InterMediaKT's teleconferencing platform.
At InterMediaKT, we have as our main pillar the Transfer of Knowledge through interactive tools. So, what’s more interactive than meeting with good friends for a chat over coffee to talk about daily issues that occur in our city and beyond and that we believe are important to hear. Actions, roles, opinions, opportunities and experiences discussed through the simple and everyday concept of a friendly warm conversation as exactly defined by the phrase "let's go for a coffee"! !!! Our team was awarded in the Hellenic Responsible Business Awards 2019 from the participation of Efi Daskalopoulou in the framework of the Vodafone’s World of Difference program, where it won the golden award in the category “Technology for the common good: Prosvasis app / Vodafone Foundation & InterMediaKT”.

InterMediaKT was awarded at the "Persons of the Year 2018" event, in the category Education - Research - Innovation, for its actions in 2018. The results of our selection come from people's votes.
InterMediaKT and POS4Work co-organized, within the framework of Europe Code Week, free introductory workshops for programming and web technologies titled "Patras Codecamp 2018", aspiring to become a reference point for the Patras community as an annual event. A wide range of themes were covered, such us: Web development, Game development, Programming, STEM & ARDUINO, Blockchain Technology, Machine learning.
The US Embassy in Athens sponsored a three-week intensive practice program for Greg Archimandritis at Techbridge Girls in Oakland, California. This externship gave us the opportunity to see first-hand and experience the U.S. entrepreneurial landscape; to see from the inside how the U.S. organization promotes innovation and technology and get the expertise and the know-how; and participate in actual projects focusing on youth entrepreneurship and STEM education. This project equipped us with skills and contacts through which we will increase our effectiveness in Greece.
GREAT: Give, Reinforce, Create Art & Technology is a long-term project in the context of European Voluntary Work inviting two young volunteers from Italy and Spain to Greece. During the project, participants will have the opportunity to design and implement various activities which correspond to the objectives of open and participatory education of InterMediaKT and aim at improving the local community and the quality of European programs.
Ms. Efi Dascalopoulou worked with InterMediaKT as a product manager of the Prosvasis Routes online platform. Her participation in the World of Difference 2018 program made her one of the 15 Winners of the program starting a wonderful partnership with Vodafone Foundation.
As part of the "My Story - Media Literacy and Refugees" project, InterMediaKT traveled for the first time to Brussels where it participated in the Final Event on the project review, which took place in the European Parliament.
InterMediaKT and the Porsvasis.co team were awarded with the "Quality Islets Award 2017" from the President of the Hellenic Republic, His Excellency, Prokopis Pavlopoulos. The event rewarded the initiatives that took place in our country and offered a significant social impact on our wider society. Therefore, InterMediaKT and Prosvasis.co were awarded for the "Accessible Routes" project.
The Patras Coding Workshop, within the framework of the EU Codeweek, was organized by InterMediaKT in cooperation with POS4work, 3 Technology Companies (eNVy softworks - Paper Improvement Group - PaperGo), 1 University Workshop (Workshop on Educational Material and Educational Methodology - IEEE Student Branch - University of Patras) who worked together to run a 5 day workshop with a variety of sessions to promote and learn programming. It is worth noting that it was the biggest event that took place in Greece in the context of the EU Codeweek events
InterMediaKT participated for first time in the 4th Patras Innovation Quest Exhibition, presenting all the European Works in which we participated. Also, all the guests who visited our stand had the opportunity to be informed about the numerous educational activities InterMediaKT participates in.
InterMediaKT received the Google RISE Award for Junior Coding Academy project, for supporting: the scratch programming, game development and Arduino activities for students in Greece, including young refugees, in collaboration with the Laboratory of Educational Material and Educational Methodology Hellenic Open University. It was the first time that a Greek delegation received this award.
The action was aimed at the creation of an online platform that maps accessible infrastructure and services for people with mobility disabilities called "Accessible Routes", covering the cities of Thessaloniki, Patras, Kalamatas, Komotini, Kos, Trikala, Karditsa, Rhodes and Volos. The action was funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation, and it was realized with the collaboration of Prosvasis team.
InteMediaKT's first intercontinental trip was a transatlantic one, held within the framework of the European project "Innovat". Our team visited Latin America and in particular Nicaragua.
The InterPriSE training program was designed to help young people who want to work in the field of education and to develop their knowledge about the principles of intercultural education and teaching in multicultural environments. The project, which was held in Patras, was included in the Best Practices 2014 by the Greek National Agency.
InterMediaKT made its first European trip to participate in the Kick Off Meeting for the YES - Young Europeans Startup Project , which took place in Vaslui.
November 2012, and a group of four people had the idea of setting up an organization that would give everyone access to knowledge through non-formal education and technological interactive tools. And the name of the organization was... InterMediaKT.
