Excerpt from the award for our action Accessible Roads We were delighted to receive the “Quality Islands of Quality 2017” by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos for our action “Accessible Roads”. The official award ceremony of the voluntary organizations and groups selected by the Hellenic Committee of Quality Islands took place on Thursday, 23/11/2017 at the Old Parliament House. InterMediaKT through its coordinator of action. Happiness Daskalopoulos received the distinction “Quality Isles 2017” by the President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Prokopis Pavlopoulos.
The “Quality Islets” competition is organized by the Citizens’ Movement for an Open Society, who have been trying since 2001 to show through an objective, transparent and predetermined process those Organizations / Groups that are not yet widely known but offer voluntary quality work and act as models for society and the young generation. This year, a total of 8 Organizations, out of 76 nominations, including InterMediaKT, were nominated by the well-known director and actor Konstantinos Markoulakis. We would like to thank the Citizens Movement for this enormous honor and to emphasize that the prize belongs to the Family of Accessible Roads! To volunteers, supporters, collaborators and all those who believed from the beginning in the motto of the action, “The more people share their knowledge of Internet access, the greater the number of people who benefit.”
This award certifies the quality of our actions and gives us the strength to continue dynamically in the near future to cover all the cities – capitals of the prefectures of Greece and to maximize the relative transfer of knowledge!
